Ex-Marine Builds Better Military Gear

OCEANSIDE, CA -- Ex-Marine Mike Bornfriend has decided to do a better job of making military gear than military vendors.

Frustrated by the low quality of gear he received as a marine in Afghanistan, Bornfriend has founded Global Tactical Solutions (GTS) to improve on what he considers are poorly designed products.

The company now makes 140 different kinds of products, from an improved pistol holster make out of canvas rather than plastic, to back packs, belts and all manner of individual soldier gear.
